Kyrie Irving has declined his $43 million player option and signed a 3-year, $119 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks, including a player option for the 2027-28 season.
Despite an ACL tear that will sideline him until January, the Mavs trust his leadership next to Anthony Davis and top draft pick Cooper Flagg under coach Jason Kidd.
Irving averaged 24.7 points last season and became the only player to shoot 40% from three and 90% from the line while scoring over 20 points.
