Kyle Singler has once again raised concerns across the basketball world after posting three new videos on social media, in which he directly accused his former Duke coach, Mike Krzyzewski, of mistreating him.
Singler’s accusations against Coach K
In one of the videos, Singler says: “Coach K has set me up”, before repeatedly turning to his former coach for help.
“Coach, where you at? Help my brother out. Thought we on the same team, man,” Singler says.
The former Duke player claims he has been unable to control his own life and alleges that people have broken into his home, stolen money and compromised his accounts. He also says he feels unable to leave his residence.
The videos, however, provide no evidence establishing those allegations as fact.

“Coach, I need your help”
In the second video, Singler expands his accusations to Duke while once again addressing Krzyzewski directly.
“Coach, I need your help. Help, man. I’m stuck at my house and I can’t leave. I feel imprisoned,” he says.
Singler later claims that his “life’s on the line” and alleges that people are breaking into his home and accounts and taking his money.
“Duke’s all about it. I got Duke again begging for my money. Everybody’s after my money, trying to kill me,” Singler says.
Those remain Singler’s allegations, and the videos do not establish that Duke, Krzyzewski or anyone affiliated with the university has engaged in the conduct he describes.

A third plea for help
In the third video, Singler says his accounts are “hijacked and frozen” and claims that people are watching his residence.
“I need your help. I’m locked in my house and I have no freedom anymore,” he says.
Singler adds that he has attempted to contact Krzyzewski “many times” and accuses his former coach of being “deflective” and leaving people behind.

Previous concerns in 2024
The latest videos come after Singler raised widespread concern in November 2024, when he posted videos saying he had been mistreated and feared for his life.
According to the Associated Press, the National Basketball Players Association subsequently contacted his family. Kevin Love, Isaiah Thomas and Andre Drummond were among the current and former NBA players who publicly offered their support.
Singler’s Duke legacy
Singler spent four seasons at Duke under Krzyzewski, helping the Blue Devils win the 2010 NCAA championship. He was also named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
Krzyzewski coached Singler throughout his entire college career, making the former player’s repeated appeals to his former coach particularly striking.
According to the material provided, neither Krzyzewski nor Duke has publicly responded to Singler’s latest statements.
