KORVER LEAVES THE HAWKS’ FRONT OFFICE

Kyle Korver is leaving the Atlanta Hawks after four years in the franchise’s front office. According to Marc Stein, Korver and the Hawks are parting ways on good terms.

Korver joined Atlanta’s front office in 2022 as Director of Player Affairs and Development before being promoted to Assistant General Manager in January 2023.

A SPECIAL CONNECTION WITH ATLANTA

Korver spent part of his playing career with the Hawks before returning to the organization as an executive.

Korver previously spent four and a half seasons as an Atlanta player and earned his only NBA All-Star selection in 2015. That Hawks team went 60-22 during the regular season, setting a franchise record.

“EXCITED FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER”

Korver leaves the organization on good terms and is already looking ahead to his next opportunity.

Marc Stein reports that Korver is departing on good terms with Atlanta and has expressed excitement about his next post-playing chapter.

His departure brings an end to a four-year front-office run with the Hawks after an outstanding 17-year NBA playing career.
