Kyle Hines, a guest on Luca Chiabotti’s show for La Repubblica-Milan, reflects on his season, possibly his last in his career, and the impending record for the most appearances in the EuroLeague.
ON HIS MOMENT
“It’s true, I’m one of the oldest players in the EuroLeague now. But among individual records, the one for games played makes me particularly proud because it shows that, after so many years, I can still compete at the highest level and play for a great club.”

“I’m excited about our potential. On paper, Armani has everything it takes to compete at the highest level in Europe, but it’s just a prediction. Even last year, the majority considered us among the favorites for the Final Four…”

“The most positive thing is that we no longer have to figure out how to stop him. He was the toughest opponent to guard, an extraordinary player in fundamentals and basketball IQ. We still need to find the best way to play together; he has elevated the international stature of the club.”
ON THE SEASON
“I didn’t enjoy watching the Final Four on TV; I would like to win the EuroLeague again. But at this point, I’m enjoying every single moment spent with my teammates, every practice, every game. And then there’s Milan, so welcoming to my entire family; we really feel at home here. When the time comes to leave, the most beautiful thing I’ll take with me are the relationships and friendships we’ve built over the years, even beyond basketball. And they will last forever.”
