Kyle Hines becomes EuroLeague career leader in two-pointers

Game by game, Hines is establishing a legacy as one of the most impactful American-born players in the history of European basketball

Kyle Hines added another two more feats to his historic resume on Tuesday as he become the EuroLeague’s career leader in two-point baskets made and scored his 3,000th point with the same shot!

The AX Armani Exchange Milan big man did so by making his third basket of the game against FC Bayern Munich to give him 1,191 two-pointers and thus surpassing his former teammate, Georgios Printezis of Olympiacos Piraeus.

The record is the second all-time EuroLeague mark Hines has taken ownership of in 2022 alone. Last month he became the career leader in offensive rebounds and he continues to climb the charts in an array of categories. In addition to his record 717 offensive boards, Hines is second in competition history with 282 blocks, third with 1,614 rebounds, fifth with 350 games played and 3,857 performance index rating points, 11th with 3,001 points and 251 steals and 14th with 611 free throws made.

Game by game, Hines is establishing a legacy as one of the most impactful American-born players in the history of European basketball. He is a four-time EuroLeague champion now in his 12th EuroLeague season with his fourth team. After debuting with Brose Bamberg in 2010, Hines spent two seasons with Olympiacos and led the Reds to EuroLeague glory in both of them. He then played seven years for CSKA Moscow and won EuroLeague crowns in 2016 and 2019. Hines was named EuroLeague Best Defender in both 2016 and 2019 as well as to the 2010-2020 EuroLeague All-Decade Team.
