The former No. 1 pick credits LeBron’s longevity but does not place him alongside Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant

Kwame Brown delivered a critical assessment of LeBron James during The Basketball Show. The former NBA center argued that longevity has played a major role in James’ extraordinary statistical résumé.

“His longevity got him the numbers, but in big moments I see him as regular,” Brown said. “LeBron can shy away from the moment at times, and I’ve never seen Kobe or MJ shy away from that moment.”

James has also built an elite postseason résumé, winning four championships and four Finals MVP awards while averaging 28.2 points, 8.9 rebounds and 7.2 assists across 302 playoff games. Brown nevertheless believes Jordan and Bryant possessed a different mentality under pressure.
