Barça have announced the appointment of Kuzey Kiliç as the new head of scouting and data analysis for the basketball department.
The 26-year-old Turkish professional joins the sporting area led by new sporting director Xevi Pujol, strengthening a department that has become increasingly important in roster planning and player recruitment.
EXPERIENCE WITH FENERBAHCE, ZENIT AND DUBAI
Kiliç began his professional career with Fenerbahce in 2021 before moving to Zenit Saint Petersburg and later Dubai Basketball.
It was in Dubai that he worked for several months alongside Aleksander Sekulic, the current head coach of Barça.
FROM SCOUTING TO YOUNG PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
Kiliç’s connection with scouting began well before he entered professional basketball.
According to the club, he started producing detailed reports on players and teams at a very young age for various basketball websites and specialized magazines.
Over the years, he expanded his scouting network beyond the EuroLeague, focusing on players of all ages from Africa, Europe and the NCAA.
His arrival represents another step in Barça’s ongoing project rebuild, with the club continuing to strengthen its sporting department through scouting and data-driven analysis.
