Despite Olympiacos’ EuroLeague loss to Real Madrid, captain Kostas Papanikolau made history by logging his 748th appearance, overtaking Georgios Printezis’ club record of 747 games.
The 35-year-old forward has played 370 EuroLeague games, 339 in the Greek league, 31 in the Greek Cup and 8 in the Super Cup, helping the Reds capture two EuroLeague titles, five league championships, five cups and four Super Cups.
