The Greek club announced the arrival of the guard-forward after his stint with Karditsa
Kolossos Rhodes has officially announced an agreement with Giorgos Kamperidis for the next two seasons.
Kamperidis, a 2.01-meter Greek guard-forward, joins the club after playing for Karditsa, where he appeared in 38 games across the Stoiximan GBL and the Basketball Champions League last season.
He averaged 5.3 points and 1.9 rebounds, shooting 40% from three-point range. During his career, he has also played for Panionios, PAOK and Neptunas.
The forward’s protective splint has been removed, allowing him to return to team practices sooner than expected.
The 36-year-old big man has reportedly reached an agreement with the Greek club and is expected to travel to Thessaloniki between Wednesday and Thursday to complete the deal.
The American center returns to Piraeus after 11 years on a one-year contract. He previously played for Olympiacos from 2013 to 2015
