New York’s center has broken his right pinkie finger. There is no timetable yet for his return
The New York Knicks have been hit by an injury concern ahead of the NBA Finals, as Mitchell Robinson has suffered a broken right pinkie finger, according to ESPN.
There is currently no timetable for his return. Robinson played 18 minutes in the Knicks’ series-clinching win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing with 8 points and 10 rebounds.
New York is back in the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999 and will face the winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder–San Antonio Spurs series.
The reigning champions have added several experienced players to compete for the final two roster spots, including former NBA champion Bruce Brown on the wing.
