Klay Thompson’s future with the Dallas Mavericks is reportedly uncertain. According to Christian Clark, as relayed by NBACentral, the veteran would welcome a return to Los Angeles, where he spent part of his childhood and still owns a home.
Thompson, a future Hall of Famer and a central figure in the Golden State Warriors’ dynasty, joined Dallas to bring shooting, experience and championship pedigree to the Mavericks’ project. Now, however, his long-term stay with the team may no longer be guaranteed.
The Miami Heat are also frequently mentioned in NBA circles as a potential landing spot for Thompson. For now, it remains a situation to monitor, but his name could become one of the more notable ones if Dallas decides to reshape its roster structure.
