According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, agent Greg Lawrence has finalized a two-year deal worth nearly $13 million. The contract will include a player option for the second season.

Thompson informed Dallas that he wanted to play for a championship contender. Miami subsequently made the four-time NBA champion and former Golden State Warriors sharpshooter its top free-agent priority.
