Kimi Antonelli visited a San Antonio Spurs practice and spent time talking with Victor Wembanyama and several players.
The Mercedes driver is in Texas ahead of this weekend’s United States Grand Prix in Austin.

Jared Weiss of The Athletic reported Antonelli’s appearance at the Spurs facility, providing an NBA-Formula 1 crossover during a crucial week for the Italian driver.

Antonelli currently leads the Formula 1 standings with 340 points, 102 ahead of teammate George Russell and 111 clear of Lewis Hamilton. Austin will give him his first mathematical opportunity to clinch the world championship.
