In the wake of a ruling granting certain players an additional year of NCAA eligibility, Keyshawn Hall has committed to St. John’s University for the upcoming season. Hall had been set to sign an Exhibit 10 training camp deal with the Miami Heat, but the 6-foot-7 forward will now return to college basketball for a fifth season.
Keyshawn Hall returns to NCAA after Auburn season
Hall played for Auburn last season, averaging 19.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. After going undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, he joined the Miami Heat for the NBA Summer League.
Hall appeared in five total games for Miami, averaging 3.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game.
NCAA eligibility remains uncertain for Keyshawn Hall
Hall’s situation remains tied to the ongoing legal battle between the NCAA and the courts over whether players in his situation should receive an additional year of eligibility.
If Hall is ultimately ruled ineligible, he could then sign with Miami or another professional team. For now, however, the forward has opted to continue his college career at St. John’s for another season.
