Prosecutors disclosed at Kevin Porter Jr.’s hearing on Tuesday that the lady who was allegedly attacked by the Houston Rockets guard in a hotel room in New York City had a deep cut above her right eye and a fractured neck vertebra.
In connection with the incident early on Monday at the Millennium Hilton near the United Nations in Manhattan, Porter, 23, is accused with criminal assault and strangulation. He didn’t stop, according to the prosecution, until his girlfriend, Kysre Gondrezick, a former WNBA player, fled into the hallway drenched in blood.
Porter’s brief court appearance did not require him to enter a plea.
The NBA player was required to either $75,000 in cash or get a $100,000 bail in order to be released from police custody after his 6:45 a.m. Monday arrest. He was also told not to approach Gondrezick.
