Kevin Pangos is beginning a new chapter in his career. The former Olimpia Milano and Napoli point guard, who announced his retirement from professional basketball in early October, has officially joined the coaching staff of Arizona, a program competing in the NCAA.
The Canadian is now embarking on a coaching career after a long professional playing career, during which he also competed in the EuroLeague with teams including Žalgiris Kaunas, Zenit Saint Petersburg, and Olimpia Milano.
For Pangos, this marks a return to American college basketball, where he played for Gonzaga before beginning his professional career in Europe. He will serve as an assistant coach at Arizona.
