Kevin Durant calls a timeout that the Rockets didn’t have. The referees don’t see anything

In the match between Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets, there was also room for controversy over refereeing. At the center of it was Kevin Durant, and the mistake seemed truly glaring and obvious.

With the score tied at 115 in the final seconds of the first overtime, Gilgeous-Alexander missed the shot, Durant took the rebound and tried to call a timeout. However, the Rockets did not have one.

The Thunder noticed this and tried to alert the referees, but no decision was made and time expired, leading to a second overtime period.

Head referee Zach Zarba said after the game that none of the three referees saw Durant call a timeout.
