Kawhi Leonard is officially a Toronto Raptors player again. According to ESPN, the two franchises reconfirmed the original terms Monday and completed the trade call with the NBA following the delay caused by the league’s investigation into the Clippers.
Leonard waived a $7.45 million trade kicker to facilitate the deal and prevent Toronto from exceeding the first apron. The Raptors will remain $2.3 million below that threshold with 13 guaranteed contracts.
The Clippers receive Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, two unprotected first-round picks, one first-round pick swap and two second-rounders. Leonard returns to the franchise he led to its first NBA championship in 2019.
