Julius Thomas joins Memphis Grizzlies as assistant coach

Julius Thomas is joining the Memphis Grizzlies coaching staff. The former Paris Basketball head coach, who became the youngest head coach in EuroLeague history, has agreed to become an assistant coach under Tuomas Iisalo.

Thomas previously coached Paris Basketball, gaining significant experience in European basketball before making the move to the NBA. He will now work alongside Iisalo, who is also familiar with the European game after coaching Paris Basketball before joining the Grizzlies.

The move represents a new chapter in Thomas’ coaching career, taking him to the NBA after his experience as a head coach in Europe’s top competition. He will now be part of Iisalo’s staff in Memphis as the Grizzlies prepare for the new NBA season.
