FC Barcelona has reached a preliminary agreement with Juani Marcos to bring the Argentinian point guard back to the club on a deal until June 2027. Marcos, who will turn 25 on July 6, developed in Barça’s youth system from 2019 to 2024 before loan spells at Lleida and Girona.
The guard played the past two seasons with Bàsquet Girona in the Spanish ACB, averaging 8.9 points and 3.9 assists in 22 minutes per game. His return to the Palau reaffirms the Catalan club’s trust in his potential, aiming to integrate him fully into the first team under coach Grimau.
The move is pending a medical and the activation of his release clause with Girona, which Barça has already triggered.
