Josh Owens, a 33-year-old big man who has played multiple times in Italy with Trento, Venezia and Reggio Emilia, has announced his retirement from basketball.
“Basketball, 13 years ago a preseason workout changed my life. 12 years ago I stepped back on the court to prove something to myself. 10 years ago I embarked on a journey with a promise to both of us. Today that promise is fulfilled- finished business.”
“With a full heart and endless gratitude, I formally announce my retirement.”
Owens spent last year between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Ionikos.
