Jonathan Motley is close to signing a lucrative three-year deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv, following his MVP performance in the EuroCup Finals. Israeli outlet One reports the new contract would pay him over $2 million per year.
He would join Elijah Bryant ($2.5M) and Daniel Oturu ($2.2M) in Hapoel’s high-profile roster build-up. Owner Ofer Yannay is pushing to secure Motley as the centerpiece for next season’s EuroLeague challenge.
After briefly leaving Israel due to the conflict, Motley returned and led Hapoel to the title. With Micić no longer in the picture, Hapoel is also targeting names like PJ Dozier, Chima Moneke, and McKinley Wright.
