John Lucas is an emerging candidate in the Rockets’ search for a new head coach, Marc Stein reports.
Lucas joined the Houston Rockets in 2016 as a player development coach, and, according to Stein, has strong working relationships with Rockets star guards James Harden and Russell Westbrook.
In recent days the Rockets have interviewed several candidates, including David Vanterpool, Wes Unseld Jr and Ty Lue.
