New Orleans Pelicans guard JJ Redick is the latest guest of the All The Smoke podcast hosted by former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. Starting at the 58:20 mark, Redick takes a shot at his former franchise, the Philadelphia 76ers, saying they made a mistake not re-signing him in the 2019 free agency.
“They f***** up not bringing me back,” Redick said. “They probably realized they needed more shooting. With me in Philly, it wasn’t just about the shooting. You need people in the locker room. You need those guys”
