Jimmy Butler reportedly expected to pass on contract extension

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is reportedly set to pass on a contract extension with the team, even if offered.

According to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, Butler is also expected to decline his player option for the 2025-26 season and enter free agency in 2025.

However, internal sources suggest Butler wishes to stay in Miami and sign a new deal.
