Jimmy Butler left Game 2 against the Rockets after suffering a pelvis contusion in the first quarter. He landed hard after a collision with Amen Thompson and was clearly in pain.
He briefly stayed in the game before asking to be subbed out, and was ruled out by the second quarter. The team announced Butler will have an MRI on Thursday.
The series now heads to San Francisco tied 1-1. Butler’s status is critical for the Warriors, who were 25-8 with him since his debut in February.
