Jimmer Fredette’s agent denies agreement between player and Sharks

Chris Emens says that there is no agreement between Fredette and Shanghai Sharks

Jimmer Fredette’s agent Chris Emens denied that the American guard has reached an agreement with the Shanghai Sharks for next season.

“We are speaking to many clubs looking for a solution for the 2020-21 season. No such agreement has been reached. We could not even consider such an agreement in China until after they rule whether or not import players will be allowed” he told Sportando.

Fredette and Panathinaikos are negotiating to part ways with the player that has a clause to opt in in his contract with the Greek powerhouse.

Despite denial, Sportando sources insist that if the foreigners will be allowed to play in China next season, Fredette will join the Sharks.
