New Orleans Pelicans assistant coach Jeff Bzdelik will not be joining the team in Orlando. The 67-year-old Bzdelik made his decision after consulting with team physicians.
There has been no final decision on whether the 65-year-old Alvin Gentry will go to Orlando, though the team has been working with the league to ensure his safety in the bubble. “I have no idea. My plan right now is to be in Orlando, and I’m looking forward to it, really,” said Gentry on Monday.
