Jeff Brooks signs new deal with Olimpia Milano

The news is now official

Olimpia Milan and Jeff Brooks agreed on a new deal and will extend their partnership into the next season. “Jeff will wear our jersey for the third consecutive season: he’s a person and a player that we appreciate, we are happy to keep working together,” Olimpia’s general manager Christos Stavropoulos said. “I want to say that I’m very happy to be back with Olimpia, to have a chance to continue to build the chemistry with some of the guys I have already played with for 1-2 years and to build a new chemistry with the new players coming in. I’m happy to get a chance to work with Coach Messina and all of his staff for another year. I’m just excited to be back and compete with this club once more! Good things are in our future at Olimpia!”

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, on June 12, 1989, Brooks started to play at the Doss High School in Louisville and eventually attended Penn State University for four years. In 2011, he began his professional career in Jesi, then moved to Cantù, Caserta and Sassari. Before the 2015/16 season, he transferred to Russia to play for Autodor Saratov one year. Them he moved to Spain and played two seasons in Malaga. In 2019, he played the World Cup with the Italian National Team. He’s about to play in Milan – where he was a member of the Supercup winning team in 2018 – for the third consecutive season.
