Boston Celtics’ star, Jayson Tatum, has etched his name into the NBA record books, scoring an astonishing 51 points in a Game 7 playoff triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers. This feat supersedes the previous record set just two weeks ago by Steph Curry, who scored 50 points in a victory over the Kings.

Tatum showcased an exceptional shooting performance, making 17 of 28 attempts from the field. Coupled with his 13 rebounds and 5 assists, Tatum joined an elite group of NBA players to record 50 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in a single NBA game.

Remarkably, Tatum’s 51-point effort outpaced the combined scoring output of 76ers’ stars Joel Embiid and James Harden, who together managed just 24 points in Game 7. Including assists, Embiid and Harden collectively contributed to 44 points, still falling short of Tatum’s impressive 62 point contribution.
