Jaylen Brown made it clear he remains happy with the Boston Celtics and sees his long-term future in Boston. His comments came after Tracy McGrady suggested there was a deeper frustration between Brown and the organization.
“Me and Brad have a great relationship. I love Boston. And if it was up to me I could play in Boston for the next 10 years,” Brown said, referring to Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens.
Brown also defended calling this his favorite season despite Boston’s first-round exit against the Philadelphia 76ers, saying he saw his teammates “grow” and overcome adversity. The Celtics star will be eligible for a two-year, $141.9 million extension in July.
