Jaylen Brown erupted after the Boston Celtics’ 105-103 loss to the Utah Jazz, calling a late no-call “unacceptable” after what he believed was a clear foul that led to the game-deciding turnover.
With under a minute left, Keyonte George slipped while guarding Brown, causing the Celtics star to trip and lose the ball. Lauri Markkanen finished the ensuing fast break with an alley-oop to put Utah ahead.
“You can’t have a mistake like that at that point in the game,” Brown said. “The whole crew blew the f—ing call. Cost us the game. Unacceptable.”
Crew chief Kevin Scott defended the officials, saying George fell before Brown and that the ball was already loose before any contact. Brown led Boston with 36 points, but the Celtics dropped to 3-5.
