Jaxson Hayes has obtained a Slovenian passport with the clear intention of representing Slovenia internationally. The Los Angeles Lakers big man is now expected to join the national team, where he would reunite with teammate Luka Doncic.
This move strengthens Slovenia’s ambitions, adding size, athleticism and rim protection to an already talented roster ahead of upcoming international competitions.
Hayes averaged 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in 18.3 minutes per game across 66 regular-season appearances for the Lakers.
