Jason Williams criticizes VJ Edgecombe over comments about the Bahamas and the Sixers, saying teammates should “look at him sideways”

Jason Williams has strongly criticized VJ Edgecombe over comments about his connection to the Bahamas compared with the Philadelphia 76ers. The former NBA guard believes Edgecombe’s teammates should take notice of where his priorities lie.

“The people who pay my check mean a lot more to me,” Williams said, arguing that Edgecombe appears to care more about the Bahamas than the Sixers. “His teammates should be looking at him sideways,” he added.

Williams’ comments put a spotlight on Edgecombe’s public messaging as the young guard prepares for the new season in Philadelphia.
