Rich was announced as the new player of Varese on June 29

Jason Rich will not join Varese for the 2020-21 season because he has decided to retire, a source told Sportando.

Rich, the MVP of the 2017-18 Serie A season, had already been announced by the Italian team as their new player for the upcoming campaign. Instead, he will retire at 34 years old.
