Jason Burnell: “We’re playing with too much pressure. Poeta told us to enjoy the game”

Speaking to Repubblica-Milano, Jason Burnell explained that Peppe Poeta has urged Olimpia Milano to play with a lighter mindset.

“We need to enjoy ourselves more and relax a little. That’s what Poeta told us this morning: enjoy yourselves and enjoy the game. We’re playing with too much pressure on us and that’s the main reason for our ups and downs and our recent losses.”

Burnell also spoke about his role in Milano and the team’s ambitions: “The goal hasn’t changed: win the league and make the EuroLeague playoffs.”
