Jaren Jackson Jr. will have a procedure to repair a turf toe injury on his right foot sustained during an offsite basketball run. The injury was evaluated on Monday with updates to follow after surgery.
The Memphis Grizzlies expect Jackson to make a full recovery, with a detailed timeline to be provided post-procedure. Jackson recently agreed to a five-year, $240 million extension with the team.
Last season, Jackson averaged 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 74 games, continuing to be a key pillar for the Grizzlies’ future plans.
