James Harden kept his comments about his future brief following the season-ending defeat of his Philadelphia 76ers by the Boston Celtics. When asked about his relationship with coach Doc Rivers and whether he believes Rivers should return as the team’s coach next season, Harden simply said, “Our relationship is OK.”
“I haven’t even thought about it,” Harden stated when questioned about his future.
This summer, Harden has the choice to either opt into his $35.6 million player option for the upcoming season or decline it and become an unrestricted free agent.
