Charlotte Hornets coach James Borrego believes LaMelo Ball deserves the rookie of the year award.
“To me, I think he is clearly the rookie of the year. And I think he will prove that over these next 10 games as well. But I think he’s already done enough to get there”.
Ball, the third overall pick of the last NBA Draft, is averaging 15.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 6.2 assist and 1.6 steals per game, shooting 45% from the field, 37% from beyond the arc and 78% from the foul line.
