Jalen Duren’s future with the Detroit Pistons is becoming increasingly uncertain. According to league sources, the big man is scheduled to meet with the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers after NBA free agency opens.
Duren, a third-team All-NBA selection, was reportedly underwhelmed by Detroit’s offer in restricted free agency and has started exploring possible sign-and-trade scenarios.
The Kings and Lakers are now officially among the teams on his list. Sacramento’s meeting could be either in person or virtual, while the Lakers’ meeting is expected to take place by phone.
Detroit still controls the process through restricted free agency, but Duren appears ready to consider alternative paths for his NBA future.
