New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson will be out for another week or two due to the ankle sprain he suffered on 6 March against the Lakers.
According to Shams Charania (ESPN), the point guard will be re-evaluated on Thursday, but is not expected to return until late March or early April at the earliest.
Brunson, a two-time All-Star, was instrumental for New York, leading the team with an average of 26.3 points and 7.4 assists per game. In addition, he scored 145 points in clutch situations, the most in the NBA.
The Knicks, currently 2-2 without him, will have to continue to manage his absence to remain competitive in the playoff race.
