The case of Dame Sarr is making waves in Barcelona: the Italian player left his club without permission to participate in the Nike Hoops Summit, causing great disappointment for the Blaugrana club, which needed him at a delicate and important moment of the season. Despite this, Jabari Parker, one of Barcelona’s stars, came out to defend his teammate. Below are his statements.
Parker’s words: “He’s my friend first, and then he’s my teammate. He needs to do what is best for him. We need him, we have a lot of injuries. Unfortunately he had to leave, but I understand both sides. He has to do what is best for him and now it is up to us to support him. ItŽs for his future, he did what he thinks is best for him. It’s not for me to say whether it was right or wrong”.
