The two had a heated postgame exchange following Friday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, after Iisalo reportedly called out Morant’s “leadership and effort” in front of the team. Morant’s response was described as “inappropriate and dismissive.”
The Grizzlies suspended Morant for one game — he will return Monday vs. Toronto — but the incident has drawn league-wide attention, with multiple teams “monitoring the situation closely.”
