Ja Morant cleared by judge: acted in self-defense against Joshua Holloway

Good news for Ja Morant: the Memphis Grizzlies star has been cleared of Joshua Holloway's 2022 lawsuit.

Finally, some positive news for Ja Morant, who is having some difficulties with his Memphis Grizzlies in the playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The NBA star has indeed been cleared of the lawsuit filed by Joshua Holloway in 2022: the two were playing a little game on a court near the Grizzlies player’s parents’ home when, according to Holloway, Ja Morant allegedly punched him in the face.

The judge, after hearing the testimony of several witnesses, including former NBA player Mike Miller, ruled that Ja Morant acted in self-defense when Holloway allegedly threw the basketball in the Grizzlies player’s face and acted in a hostile manner, inciting a fight between the two.
