Brooklyn Nets director of player personnel and European Basketball legend J.R. Holden talked with Gazzetta.gr about Mike James’ potential, and his chances of staying with the Nets.
“Let us be honest. Mike is an NBA player. He just happened to play in Europe. The same goes for Larkin. Micic is an NBA player. And so does Calathes, who played in the NBA. Corey Higgins too. They just got their talent in Europe where they make great careers. I have a lot of respect for Mike James’s game. He has tremendous talent”.
“We want the best for our team, but also the best for Mike. I do not have an answer to give you. And I will always be on the side of the player and his wishes.”.
James averaged 7.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.2 assist in 13 games with the Nets.
