Hapoel Tel Aviv snapped a six-game losing streak and, after the matchup against Maccabi Ra’anana, Dimitris Itoudis focused on his team’s recent form and response. “I want to congratulate my team. We played seriously, moved the ball the right way and defended well in the first half,” he said.
Itoudis highlighted the second-half defense in particular: “The fact we held them to 32 points in the second half shows we approached the game smarter defensively.”
He then addressed the bigger picture: “When you’re mature enough to use losses and build something positive from them, that’s important. I’m not a magician to know if the momentum will change, but I hope so. We have to fix some things and we’ll be fine.”
