Italian Basketball Federation officially ends LBA 2019-20 season

All Italian National Leagues are now officially ended.

Italian Basketball Federation president Gianni Petrucci has officially announced that LBA Serie A 2019-20 is over due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Serie A is the latest, and last, Italian basketball league to be officially canceled due to COVID-19: Italian basketball, at all levels, is now stopped for this current season.

The only Italian teams still officially active for 2019-20 are Olimpia Milano, Reyer Venezia and Virtus Bologna, due to the status of the Euroleague and EuroCup seasons.
