The Detroit Pistons are trading Isaiah Stewart to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for three future second-round picks.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Stewart leaves Detroit after finishing seventh in Sixth Man of the Year voting last season. The 25-year-old big man averaged 10 points on 55% shooting, 5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game off the bench.
Stewart has two years and $30 million left on his contract, with a team option for 2027-28. In Memphis, he will join a young frontcourt featuring Cameron Boozer, Karim Lopez and Zach Edey, while Detroit gains more roster flexibility heading into the summer.
