Isaiah Hartenstein will not be available for Germany during the upcoming FIBA 2027 World Cup qualifying window due to an ankle injury. The Oklahoma City Thunder center, coming off an impressive season, will have to undergo a rehabilitation process before returning to action.
Hartenstein had been expected to make his long-awaited comeback with the German national team this summer, having last represented the country in 2018.
He was included on Germany’s preliminary roster for the upcoming qualifiers, raising hopes of his return after an eight-year absence. However, his comeback will now have to wait due to the ankle issue.
