Ioannis Papapetrou has officially announced his retirement.
The 31-year-old Greek forward took to Instagram to explain the reasons behind his decision, citing ongoing physical issues that ultimately forced him to step away from the game.
Throughout his career, Papapetrou played for the University of Texas (NCAA), Olympiacos (2013–2018), Panathinaikos (2019–2022 and again from 2023 to 2025), and Partizan Belgrade (2022–2023).
